Stephanie Carey: Owner and Consultant
I was raised on the family farm at Yambuk and always had an interest in horses. My father Michael is undoubtedly one of, if not the finest equine dentist anywhere and he has travelled internationally with his business for over 15 years.
 My previous work experience was as a business analyst of over 11 years' duration. In more recent times I have used my business analyst skills to help streamline my father's business practices and systems. This has encouraged me to provide my services to all areas of equine management globally. I decided to set up my own business. Carey Consulting & Development was formed in June 2007 as I travelled, with Michael, to Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, England, Ireland, Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
These overseas trips have lead to many projects and business ideas. The most exciting service I have to offer is my international racing tours. I have been very lucky over the years to see the best this sport of thoroughbred racing has to offer, including Hong Kong, (International Races and QE2 Cup), Singapore, (International), Dubai, (Dubai World Cup) and England, (Royal Ascot and Cheltenham Gold Cup Festival).
I have witnessed companies conducting Racing Tours to these amazing events and this gave me the incentive to plan and organise my own racing tours, which add "a little extra" to my potential clientele.
Whilst working with Michael I've been fortunate enough to meet (and befriend) some of the best horse trainers (their families and staff) plus racing personalities, from all fields, throughout the world. I will be using and consulting with these contacts to ensure I design the best possible itinerary, so that participants of a "Carey Equine Racing Tour", walk away thinking this is the best racing tour ever.
In order for me to offer the best racing tours I must have the best people around me. My tour guide Amanda Layley has been breed into the field of racing. She has explored the world of racing whilst attending many carnivals in Australia and abroad and "knows the ropes"
